Abstract:
Disclosed are water-absorbing resin particles 10a having an expansion maintenance rate, which is calculated by the expression of expansion maintenance rate (%)=(V1/V0)×100, of 98% or greater. V0 is the volume of a swollen gel formed when 1.000±0.001 g of the water-absorbing resin particles 10a absorb 20.0±0.1 g of pure water. V1 is the volume of a swollen gel formed when 1.000±0.001 g of the water-absorbing resin particles 10a absorb 20.0±0.1 g of physiological saline.
