Abstract:
Water absorbing resin particles 10a have a gel flow rate of 10 to 70 g/min as measured in steps (1) to (3) described below. (1) One part by mass of the water absorbing resin particles and 199 parts by mass of water are mixed together to obtain a gel. (2) The gel is placed in a funnel while a round 8 mm-diameter opening at the bottom end of the funnel is closed. (3) As the gel flow rate, the amount of gel that leaks per unit of time is measured when 3 minutes has passed after the bottom end has been opened.
