Abstract:
The present invention measures in situ the water absorbing property of a concrete surface of an actual structure to find out or evaluate a causative factor or the like related to the denseness of a concrete surface layer part of the actual structure. A water absorption test device (1) comprises a position fixture (3) for fixing the position of a water absorption tester (2) having a deaeration means (25c, 26c) to a concrete surface (V, LL) by negative pressure (E) or mechanical coupling (80), a detector (90) for detecting the quantity of water (W) held in a water absorption chamber (B), and a measurement unit (91) to which the result of the detection by the detector is inputted. The temporal change of water absorption speed (y) is measured by the detector and the measurement unit. On the basis of the water absorption speed measured over a predetermined elapsed time, a causative factor or an evaluative factor related to the denseness of a concrete surface layer part is identified or compared.
