Abstract:
Disclosed is a water barrier sheet having high density and excellent characteristics such as elongation, flexibility and tensile strength, while exhibiting excellent weather resistance. The water barrier sheet is not toxic. A first embodiment of the present invention is a water barrier sheet obtained by blending strontium carbonate into a polyethylene resin, which has a density of not less than 1.05 g/cm3 and an elongation of not less than 600%. A second embodiment of the present invention is a water barrier sheet obtained by blending a polyolefin thermoplastic elastomer and strontium carbonate into a polyethylene resin, which has a density of not less than 1.05 g/cm3 and an elongation of not less than 600%.
