Abstract:
The invention provides a double-color developing ink composition which is excellent in the fixing of colorants and can form excellent outlines. A water-base double-color developing ink composition which comprises (a) at least one pigment selected from among pearlescent pigments and metal powder pigments, (b) water, (c) at least one water-soluble organic solvent selected from among alcohols, glycols, and glycol ethers, which have branched hydrophobic groups, (d) a water-soluble dye, and (e) a water -soluble fixing agent consisting of modified starch.
