Abstract:
A water-based adhesive is provided which can strongly bond polyethylene to a plastic other than polyethylene, a metal, or a metal oxide. By adding a small amount (greater than or equal to 0.01 parts by weight and less than 5 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of a polyolefin resin) of an oxazoline group-containing polymer to a water-based dispersion (emulsion) of a polyolefin resin, is possible to provide a water-based adhesive which, conventionally difficult to achieve, can strongly adhere polyethylene (PE; includes ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) to a plastic other than polyethylene, a metal, or metal oxide thereof.
