Abstract:
Provided is a water-based coating composition which exhibits excellent low-temperature curability and which can form a coating film with excellent adhesion to a substrate. A water-based coating composition which comprises (A) an aqueous epoxy-derived polyamine resin that has one or more primary and/or secondary amino groups in the molecule, (B) a compound that has one or more (meth)acryloyl groups in the molecule, and (C) an alkoxysilane compound, wherein the equivalent ratio of (meth)acryloyl of the compound (B) to amino of the resin (A) [(meth)acryloyl/amino] is 0.7 to 2.5, and the content of the alkoxysilane compound (C) is 0.2 to 5% by mass relative to the solid matter of the water-based coating composition.
