Abstract:
There has been a problem of being unable to achieve a sufficient sound absorption coefficient in the low frequency region (including 1500-2000 Hz). In addition, there have been demands for water-based coating materials that have different constitutions from the prior art while exhibiting similar sound absorption characteristics. The present invention addresses the problem of providing a water-based coating material having different sound absorption characteristics from the prior art. This water-based coating material, which can solve the problem mentioned above, has a porous particulate material which contains silicon oxide and alumina as primary components and has multiply divided voids in the inner part thereof. A conventional hollow fine particle has one void, but it is possible to provide a material having excellent sound absorption characteristics at 2000 Hz or lower by providing multiply divided voids. In particular, high sound absorption characteristics can be achieved by using porous white sand as a primary component. (A1: Porous white sand, A2: White sand, porous alumina)
