Abstract:
Provided is an edible water-based ink-jet ink composition which has excellent ejection stability and can be directly printed on, for example, tablets of pharmaceuticals, foods, etc. by ink-jet printing. The water-based ink-jet ink composition according to the present invention is used for ink-jet recording, and is characterized by: containing at least a colorant and an ejection stabilizer comprising polyglyceryl caprylate as a main component, the ejection stabilizer having an HLB of 15 or greater and being contained in an amount of 1-5 mass% with respect to the whole mass; and having a surface tension at 25ºC of 25-40 mN/m.
