Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a water-containing gel sheet in a packaging material in which menthyl lactate is effectively and efficiently used as a cooling sensation agent, adsorption to the packaging material is effectively suppressed, and it is possible to actualize low irritability together with an exceptional cooling sensation. Specifically, the present invention provides a water-containing gel sheet in a packaging material, the water-containing gel sheet including a water-containing polymer gel layer in which: the following components (A) and (B): (A) 0.01-0.6% by mass of menthyl lactate; and (B) one or more fragrance components selected from acyclic monoterpenes and derivatives thereof, acyclic sesquiterpenes and derivatives thereof, and monoterpenes other than menthol that have one ring structure in which the ring skeleton comprises only carbon atoms in the molecule and derivatives thereof, are contained in the water-containing polymer gel layer; and the mass ratio ((A)/(B)) of component (A) and component (B) is 0.1-15.
