Title:
WATER CONTENT SENSOR AND CLOTHES-DRYING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/155291
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A water content sensor (1) that emits light toward a target object (2) and detects the water content of the target object (2) on the basis of light reflected from the target object (2), wherein the water content sensor (1) comprises: a light-emitting unit (20) that emits sensing light including a first wavelength band in which the absorption by water is greater than a prescribed value, and reference light including a second wavelength band in which the absorption by water is equal to or less than a prescribed value, toward the target object (2) while scanning; a first light-receiving unit (33) that receives the sensing light reflected by the target object (2) and converts said light to a first electrical signal; a second light-receiving unit (43) that receives the reference light reflected by the target object (2) and converts said light to a second electrical signal; a computation processing unit (56) that calculates a signal difference between the first electrical signal and the second electrical signal; and a light source control unit (51) that, on the basis of the signal difference, controls the distribution of a plurality of detection positions (P) of the signal difference in a scanning range (A) of the sensing light and the reference light emitted by the light-emitting unit (20).
