Abstract:
Provided is a water dispenser wherein it is difficult for bacteria to propagate in an inner peripheral section of a cap of a source water container. A cap (45) comprises an inner peripheral section (46) that forms a water outlet (14), and a plug (47) that blocks the water outlet (14). A joint part (15) of a water source water channel (6) linking a source water container (4) and a cold water tank (2) comprises a cylindrical body having a straight section (73) that fits into the inner peripheral section (46) by means of a tightening material. An ultraviolet light source (78) is disposed inside the joint part (15). The straight section (73) comprises an ultraviolet light-permeable resin. On the inside of the joint part (15), an ultraviolet light reflecting section (79) is disposed in an area that does not face the inner peripheral section (46) in the radial direction. The inner peripheral section (46) is sterilized by ultraviolet light of the ultraviolet light source (78) that has passed through the straight section (73).
