Abstract:
This water electrolysis system comprises: a water electrolysis stack, which produces hydrogen by electrolysing water; a dehumidification device, which adsorbs and eliminates moisture that is present in the hydrogen produced by the water electrolysis stack; a wet line, which supplies the hydrogen produced by the water electrolysis stack to the dehumidification device; a compression device, which increases the pressure of the hydrogen in stages, after the elimination of the moisture present in the hydrogen by the dehumidification device; and a purge line, which bleeds off some of the hydrogen, the pressure of which is being increased in the compression device, and channels said hydrogen to the wet line via the dehumidification device.
