Abstract:
A water hammer device of the present invention comprises: a hammer body having a bit unit, which performs a drilling operation and is provided at an end portion thereof; a piston slidably provided in the hammer body, and having a working fluid discharge part in the longitudinal direction thereof; a driving unit provided between a hammer body part and the piston so as to support the upper part of the piston, and lifting and lowering the piston by the water supplied through a rod connected to the hammer body; and a working fluid escape part provided between the hammer body, which is between the bit unit and the driving unit, and the piston so as to guide the piston, forming an escape space for water between the piston and a bit when the bit is hit by the piston, and separating bubbles from the water flowing into the escape space and storing the same in the upper part of the escape space.
