Abstract:
This water heater comprises: a water heater body (20) in which a burner (3) having a downward combustion surface is disposed; a fan case (10) which contains a fan (10a) for supplying a mixture of primary combustion air and fuel gas to the burner; an annular gasket (6) which connects in an air-tight manner a first connecting end face (13) located at the downstream end of a first flow path (1) forming the downstream flow path of the fan case (10) and a second connecting end face (23) located at the upstream end of a second flow path (2) forming the upstream flow path of the body (20); and a check valve (5) which is provided in the vicinity of the upstream end in the second flow path (2).
