Abstract:
A water-in-oil emulsion of a high inner aqueous phase type which comprises (a) a high-molecular polyether-modified silicone having a number-average molecular weight of 30,000 or above, (b) a polyether-modified silicone having a number-average molecular weight of 10,000 or below, or a sucrose fatty acid ester and/or polyglycerin fatty acid ester which is liquid at ordinary temperatures and has an HLB of 4 or below, (c) a silicone oil, and (d) an inorganic salt and/or an organic salt and which exhibits feelings of moistness and nongreasiness in use and has a good emulsified state; and emulsion cosmetics made by using the emulsion.
