Abstract:
Disclosed is a water ingress monitoring device for an elevator shaft pit, the water ingress monitoring device comprising: a color-changing component (10) arranged on a bottom face of an elevator shaft pit. The color-changing component (10) has a first color when same has not been wetted by water, and, after being wetted by water, changes from the first color to a second color different from the first color, such that whether water enters an elevator shaft pit can be determined according to the color of the color-changing component (10), it thus being possible to prevent or reduce damage to an elevator due to a water ingress accident, and improving the safety of the elevator.
