Abstract:
An embodiment of a water leak diagnosing device comprises a total water leak volume acquiring unit, a node usage acquiring unit, a node water leak volume estimating unit, an estimation parameter setting unit, and a water leak location estimating unit. The total water leak volume acquiring unit acquires the total volume of a water leak in a pipeline network on the basis of the volume of water flowing in the pipeline network and water usage by consumers in the pipeline network. The node usage acquiring unit acquires node usage indicating the total volume of water usage at each node in the pipeline network. The node water leak volume estimating unit estimates a plurality of node water leak volumes on the basis of the total volume of the water leak, the node usage, and an estimation parameter. The water leak location estimating unit estimates the location of a water leak in the pipeline network on the basis of the plurality of estimates for node water leak volumes. The node water leak volume estimating unit estimates the volume of a node water leak using an estimation parameter that is different for each of the plurality of node water leak volume estimates.
