Abstract:
The present invention relates to a water leakage prevention apparatus for a water purifier and, more specifically, to a water leakage prevention apparatus for a water purifier, which has a structure of being installed in a connecting part of a tank and a raw water supply pipe connected with the outside of the water purifier and of operating depending on the water level of fresh water stored in the tank, thereby being capable of preventing, in advance, water leakage within the water purifier as a buoyancy member of the water leakage prevention apparatus is raised and simultaneously the inflow of the raw water supplied from the outside is blocked if a certain amount of fresh water is contained in the tank. According to the present invention, provided is a water leakage prevention apparatus for a water purifier, which is installed in a connecting part of a tank and a raw water supply pipe connected with the outside of the water purifier, the water leakage prevention apparatus comprising: a buoyancy member; a flow arm attached to one side surface of the buoyancy member and having a pressurization projection formed at the end of the flow arm and a coupling member attached to the bottom of the pressurizing projection; a cylindrical casing having, formed on the lower surface thereof, a coupling member insertion hole into which the coupling member is inserted, and a flow arm insertion hole; a plate-type fixing board inserted into the lower surface of the casing; a plate-type airtight packing installed in the upper surface of the fixing board; a main body combined with the casing and having a raw water supply hole and a water supply hole respectively formed therethrough; and a coupling nut coupled to the top of the main body.
