Abstract:

　Provided is a water- and oil-repellent composition which can provide a product having excellent water repellency, oil repellency and heavy rain durability. Also provided are a manufacturing method for the same, and a product exhibiting excellent water repellency, oil repellency, heavy rain durability and handling.　The water- and oil-repellent composition comprises a copolymer including a constituent unit derived from a monomer (a), a constituent unit derived from a monomer (b) and a constituent unit derived from a monomer (c). The monomer (a) is a compound represented by (Z-Y)nX (wherein Z represents a C1-6 perfluoroalkyl group, or the like; Y represents a bivalent organic group, or the like; n represents 1 or 2; and X represents a polymerizable unsaturated group). The monomer (b) is (meth)acrylate having an alkyl group with a carbon number of at least 12, but not having a polyfluoroalkyl group. Monomer (c) has a poly(oxypolyfluoroalkylene) chain.
