Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to suppress, with as small and as lightweight configuration as possible, penetration of water into a splice portion from an extension portion side of a relatively thin electric cable extending from the splice portion. This water intrusion prevention structure for a splice portion is provided with: a splice portion in which the core wires of a plurality of electric cables are connected to each other; a first electric cable extension portion extending from one end of the splice portion; and a second electric cable extension portion extending from the other end of the splice portion and being thicker than the first electric cable extension portion. A first sheet, on the one end side of the splice portion, covers a region which includes a portion reaching the splice portion from the covering of the electric cables included in the first electric cable extension portion and which is short of the covering of the electric cables included in the second electric cable extension portion. A second sheet covers a region which overlaps the first sheet and which, on the other end side of the splice portion, includes a portion reaching the splice portion from the covering of the electric cables included in the second electric cable extension portion.
