Abstract:
Provided is a water permeability-imparting agent that can maintain a durable water permeability on a long-term basis. The water permeability-imparting agent comprises the following polyester compound (A). The polyester compound (A) is a compound having a structure in which the following polycarboxylic acid (B) is ester bonded with the following polyol (C). The polycarboxylic acid (B) is an at least dibasic C10-66 carboxylic acid (excluding aromatic carboxylic acids) and the polyol (C) is an at least dihydric alcohol having a C2-3 (poly)oxyalkylene group in the molecule. The polycarboxylic acid (B) is preferably a dimer acid.
