Abstract:
A water pump mounted on a water-cooling engine cylinder of motorcycles has a water pump cover (2) mounted in an end face of a water pump body (1) to form a pump chamber (6). A water inlet (7) and a water outlet (8) of the pump are connected with the pump chamber (6). A mounting surface (L) on the water pump body (1) is matched with a motor cylinder and the surface is provided parallel to axial line of water pump shaft (3). A bolt hole (9) formed on the water pump body connecting to the motor cylinder is vertical to the mounting surface (L).The water pump body (1) is equipped with a support (10) in a structure of case on one end correspondingto water pump gear (5). The water pump gear (5) is mounted in the cavity of the support (10). There is also a bolt hole (11) connecting the motor cylinder on the support (10). The pump is convenient to mount and maintain, has quick water flow speed in the cylinder under a condition that blades of water pump running at same rotation speed. The pump has better cooling effect for motor and requires less production cost.
