Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a highly useful water purification device that can be attached to an existing bicycle or motorcycle without requiring any special specification, and with which purified water suitable for drinking can be obtained from raw water such as seawater in a required location. This water purifier comprises a pump having a rotating shaft and connected to an intake pipe, a water purifier connected to the pump, a ring-shaped attachment that can be detachably secured to a spoke extending between a rim and a hub constituting the drive wheel of the bicycle or motorcycle, and a transmission member that is wound between the ring-shaped attachment and the rotating shaft of the pump, and that transmits the rotation of the ring-shaped attachment to the rotation shaft of the pump to allow coordinated operation. The drive wheel of the bicycle or motorcycle is rotated and the ring-shaped attachment secured to the spoke is rotated, whereby the pump is driven, raw water is suctioned from the intake pipe connected to the pump and is pumped to the water purifier to perform the water purification process, whereby purified water is obtained.
