Abstract:
Provided is a water purification filter equipped with an activated carbon molded article that is produced by solidifying activated carbon with a binder and then molding the solidified product, wherein the binder in the activated carbon molded article has a large surface area per unit volume and also has high strength per unit volume. The water purification filter 1 is equipped with an activated carbon molded article 2 that is produced by solidifying activated carbon 3 with a binder 4 and then molding the solidified product, wherein the binder 4 contains cellulose nanofibers that are produced by finely fiberizing plant fibers and have a nano-order average fiber diameter.
