Abstract:
The present invention relates to a water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water. The specific arrangement provides filtered and maintainable level of additives and pH in the drinking water. The invention specifically provides filtered water without any loss of water. The invention discloses mainly three types of means which is filter means (100), additive means (200) and control means (300). The filter means (100) comprises various filters like sediment filter (11), carbon filter (12), UV lamp (13) and magnetic rings (14). The additive means (200) collectively maintains the dosage of additive and pH in the drinking water. The control means (300) controls the dosage of additive and it injects the dosage of additives in drinking water. The present invention provides magnetized water which is useful for human heath and it does not removes essential minerals and vitamins which are required for human body.

Claims:
We Claim:

1. A water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water comprises, a filter means (100) includes a water inlet pipe (10), a sediment filter

(11), a carbon filter (12), an ultra violet (UV) lamp (13) and a magnetic ring

(14); an additive means (200) includes a additive liquid cartridge (15); a control means (300) includes a first DC valve (21), a dosing unit (22) and a second DC valve (23); characterizing that, wherein the DC valves (21, 22) are controlled by timer or manual toggle switch (24). The timer or manual toggle switch (24) is switching the electric supply to position "A" to position "B" or vice-versa to open and close the DC valves (21, 22) accordingly; a position "A" of switch, the first DC valve (21) becomes open and it is for inject the dosing of additive and pH additive in the dosing unit (23); and a position "B" of the switch, the second DC valve (22) becomes open and it is for treated water with the maintained vitamin B and pH level; wherein the input of dosing unit (23) is from the additive means (200) through the first DC valve (21) and output of the said dosing unit is given to the water outlet (20) through the second DC valve (22). 2. The water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water as claimed in claim 1, wherein the additive cartridge (15), in preferred embodiment, includes liquid for balance vitamins and pH which contains 3 mg of Vitamin C;

0.05 mg of Vitamin B12; 0.014 mg of Folic Acid;

0.24 mg of Vitamin B ;

560 mg of Potassium hydroxide;

42.5 mg of Potassium hydrogen Carbonate;

3.5 mg of Buffering agent, in dosing amount per 20 L of water.

3. The water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sediment filter (11) removes unwanted dirt particles from water.

The water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water as claimed in claim 1, wherein the carbon filter (12) comprises activated carbon that removes organic particles and chemicals from water and the dosing unit (23) prepares the dose of the additives and pH liquid which is adjustable..

The water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water as claimed in claim 1, wherein ultra violet (UV) lamp (13) operated using a UV choke (31) penetrate harmful pathogens in the water and destroy illness-causing microorganisms by attacking their genetic core (DNA). 6. The water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water as claimed in claim 1, wherein the magnetic rings (14) magnetizing the water by magnetic filed and makes the water molecules are in structured form. 7. The water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water as claimed in claim 1, wherein the DC valves (21, 22) operated by the DC supply through a SMPS (32).

8. The water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water as claimed in claim 1 and 2, the formulation can be made of unit dose, preferably pouch, to add directly to the existing purified water.

The water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water as claimed in claim 1, wherein the additive liquid cartridge (15) may also contains other vitamin and minerals like iron, zinc, copper, iodine, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, fluoride, sodium, potassium, chloride, Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, Vitamin K etc. 10. The method of water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water comprising following step:

1. adjusting a toggle switch (24) as per dose of additives requirement by user;

2. setting the toggle switch (24) on position "A" and the opening of a first DC valve (21) ;

3. inserting the dose of additive and pH in a dosing unit (23) from a additive liquid cartridge (15);

4. injecting the water which want to purify from a water inlet (10);

5. filtering the water through a sediment filter (11), a carbon filter (12), an ultraviolet lamp (13) and a magnetic ring (14) respectively;

6. operating the toggle switch (24) and changing the position form position "A" to position "B";

7. opening a second DC valve (22);

8. collecting the purified water enriched with additives and balanced pH form the water outlet (20).

Description:
A WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM FOR MAINTAINING pH AND ADDITIVE IN DRINKING WATER

Field of Invention:

The present invention preferably relates to water purification system that add essential components along with the pH balance in the drinking water in unit dose, or in other words a system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water.

Background of Invention:

The water is an essential requirement of any living things. The water is used for the drinking, preparing food and for many other works. The drinking water is transported by the municipality of the district or local authorities of the villages form the river or ponds to the home.

In today's World river and ponds are become polluted and this water may be very dangerous for human life as a use of drinking. There are many types of inorganic materials and other unwanted elements are found in the said water due to highly industrialization in the world and other impurities. Unwanted and potentially harmful element in drinking water is the concern to the many people.

There are various types of water purification devices have been developed. Most people filter their tap water which comes from the dam, public source or sometimes from a desalination plant. In this case, the water travels miles and miles of metal pipes to reach tap water in your home. The municipalities also filter the water at some level and after that it transports the water to the households and other premises. Further the bore well water also used by the residence and other premises which contains impurities with the essential minerals and vitamins.

There are many types of vitamin and minerals are in the water which is essential for the all human for healthy life style. In the water the essential vitamins and minerals are vitamin Bn, Calcium, iron, zinc, copper, iodine, phosphorus, magnesium, fluoride, sodium, potassium, chloride etc. There are many water purifier and treatment system in which it used a Reveres Osmosis (RO) technique for water purification. This type of process removes the essential vitamin and minerals and if this type of purified water drank by the human for long time, the disease arise due to lack of vitamins and minerals in a body. The type of water may causes the diseases like anemia, brittle bones, excessive bleeding, bad teeth and bones, goiter, enlarged thyroid gland etc. In water Vitamin B12 and other minerals are require for body to work properly. Vitamin B12 can be found in foods such as meat, fish, and dairy products. So it is very difficult to get the additive by the vegetarian people from vegetarian foods. Further, the low level of Vitamin B12 and minerals in the blood make many deficiencies like tingling hands and feet, trouble for walking, pale skin fatigue, fast heart rate, Shortness of breath, mouth pain etc. Therefore, it is essential vitamin which required every human body.

The pH level of filtered water can vary from acid to weak alkaline. The body needs to flush out toxins, and for that to be effective is to drink water with higher pH. A good pH level is 6.5 to 9. This is not too alkaline and not acidic. Higher than that may cause detoxing effects like nausea, light headedness, and others. For very high pH levels, one may also increase their number of free radicals, more than what your body needs and may risk your healthy cells. Further, drinking of acidic water may cause diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, chills, weakness, shortness of breath, suppression of the immune system, organ damage and others.

Water is purified by reverse osmosis system at home using water purifier. This type of water purifier removes impurities from the water but it also removes all the minerals and vitamins like additive from the water which is required for human body. Further due to purification of the water the pH of the water is also changed. The pH of purified water is around 5 -6.5 which is acidic and dangerous for human life by drinking constantly this type of water. Further all the purifier waste the water around 60-80% during the purification process.

CN203112610U discloses an RO water purifier which comprises a front-mounted filtering device, a reverse osmosis membrane filtering device, a rear-mounted filtering device, a purified water outlet device, a pressure barrel, a third switching valve, a concentrated water backflow branch, a water quality monitoring device and a control device, wherein the third switching valve is connected to a pipeline between a concentrated water outlet of the reverse osmosis membrane filtering device and a first regulating valve; a first end of the concentrated water backflow branch is connected to a pipeline between the concentrated water outlet of the reverse osmosis membrane filtering device and the third switching valve, and a second end is connected to a pipeline between the front-mounted filtering device and a booster pump; the water quality monitoring device is used for monitoring the water quality at the purified water outlet of the reverse osmosis membrane filtering device in real time, and transmitting to the control device; and the control device is used for controlling switches of a first switching valve, a second switching valve, the third switching valve and a fourth switching valve.

US 4,909,93 disclosed a water purification system has a reverse osmosis filtration unit which receives feed water from a feed water valve and separates it into product water and waste water. A reservoir has a movable separator dividing it into a product water chamber for receiving the product water and a control water chamber. The product water is delivered to an outlet connection from the product water chamber or directly from the filtration unit. A regulator is connected to the waste water outlet port of the filtration unit, the control water port of the reservoir, and a drain line. The regulator has a first valve for providing waste water from the filtration unit to the control water port of the reservoir for urging the separator toward the product water chamber. The regulator has a second valve that can rapidly drain water from the control water chamber of the reservoir and rapidly reduce pressure in the control water chamber, thus facilitating the refilling of the product water chamber. A relief valve downstream of the second valve maintains a low pressure in the system to avoid undesirable cycling of the system between high pressure and low pressure."

The limitation of above cited documents is it removes all the vitamin and minerals which is essential to human being due to use of reverse osmosis system. Further it does not disclosed pH level and due to the use of reverse osmosis, the pH may be between 5 - 6.5 pH. Therefore this type of water is very acidic compare to pure water and harmful to the body. Hence, it is desperately needed to a system which filter the water and also it maintain the vitamin B and pH level to overcomes the difficulties as described above.

Object of Invention: The main object of the present invention is to provide a water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water. Another object of the present invention is to provide the water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water which removes solid materials. Another object of the present invention is to provide the water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water which has 0% of water wastage.

Another object of the present invention is to provide the water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water which is easy to maintain the doses of additive and pH.

Further object of the present invention is to provide the water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water which remove/kill the microorganism in the water.

Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water which provides automatic dosing operation of additive and pH.

Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water which is economical, durable and versatile. Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water which provides magnetizing water. Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water which provides with natural minerals.

Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water which prevent from diseases due to lack of vitamins and minerals like anemia, diarrhea etc.

Summary of Invention:

The present invention relates to a water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water. The specific arrangement provides filtered and maintainable level of additive and pH in the drinking water. The invention specifically provides filtered water without any loss of water. The invention discloses mainly three types of means which is filter means, additive means and control means. The filter means comprises various filters like sediment filter, carbon filter, UV lamp and magnetic rings. The additive means collectively maintains the dosage of additives and pH in the drinking water. The control means controls the dosage of additive and it injects the dosage of additives in drinking water. The present invention provides magnetized water which is useful for human heath and it does not removes essential minerals and vitamins which are required for human body. Further, it is durable, highly efficient and also economical.

Figure 1 shows schematic line diagram of the water purification system for maintaining pH and additive in drinking water. Detailed Description of Invention:

Before explaining the present invention in detail, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited in its application to the details of the construction and arrangement of parts illustrated in the accompany drawings. The invention is capable of other embodiment, as depicted in different figures as described above and of being practiced or carried out in a variety of ways. It is to be understood that the phraseology and terminology employed herein is for the purpose of description and not of limitation. Fig. 1 provides schematic view of the water purification system to maintain additive and pH in drinking water. The present invention mainly comprises three systems which are 1. Filter means (100),

2. Additive means (200) and

3. Control means (300).

The filter means (100) includes water inlet pipe (10), sediment filter (11), carbon filter (12), Ultra Violet (UV) lamp (13) and magnetic ring (14). The additive means (200) mainly comprises the additive liquid cartridge (15). The control means (300) mainly comprises first DC valve (21), dosing unit (22) and second DC valve (23). The water is inserted through the water inlet pipe (10) and the water is passed through the sediment filter (11) in which the sediment filter (11) functions like a net that catches unwanted dirt particles as water flows through the system. A sediment filter (11) captures and removes particulate matter like dirt and debris from the water. Sediment is a generic term for all the particulate matter in the water that is not liquid. Flakes of rust can enter in the water supply from corroded galvanized plumbing. Rainwater can carry silt, clay, soil, and grains of sand into well groundwater supply. Flow changes in the water main can also transport sediment to home. The sediment filter (11) is the first line of defense against this dirt and debris. It prohibits all this solid particulate from entering water supply and impeding the performance of water filtration systems. Sediment filter (11) also removes turbidity from water. Turbidity is the cloudiness caused in water by the heavy presence of suspended solids. This causes water to turn yellow, orange, or brown.

Sediment filter (11) does not remove chemicals, bacteria, or dissolved particulate matter. The sediment filter (11) does not improve the taste or smell of water. Sediment filter (11) is primarily a defensive and preservative filtration method. Sediment filter (11) is most effective filter serving as pre filters.

The output of sediment filter (11) is given to the input of the carbon filter (12) in which carbon filter (12) contains activated carbon. The Carbon filter (12) removes the particles such as chlorine, sediment, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), taste and odor.

Carbon filter (12) works by adsorption, in which pollutants in the fluid to be treated are trapped inside the pore structure of a carbon substrate. As water passes through carbon filter (12), organic particles and chemicals are trapped inside through a process known "adsorption". The adsorption process depends upon 5 key factors: 1) physical properties of the activated carbon (surface area and pore size distribution); 2) the chemical makeup of the carbon source (amount of hydrogen and oxygen); 3) the chemical makeup and concentration of the contaminant; 4) water pH and temperature; and 5) the length of time the water is exposed to the activated carbon filter (12) (called empty bed contact time or EBCT).

After the processing of water in carbon filter (12), the output water from carbon filter (12) is passed through Ultra-violet lamp (UV) (13).

Ultra-violet lamp (13) is the most effective filter for disinfecting bacteria from the water. Ultraviolet (UV) rays penetrate harmful pathogens in the water and destroy illness-causing microorganisms by attacking their genetic core (DNA). This is extremely efficient in eliminating their ability to reproduce. Disinfecting your water with Ultraviolet light is exceptionably simple, effective and environmentally safe. Ultraviolet lamp systems (13) destroy 99.99% of harmful microorganisms without adding chemicals or changing water's taste or odor.

Ultraviolet lamp (13) has operated using the UV choke (31) as shown in Fig. 1. The Electric supply is given to the UV choke and this said choke operates the Ultraviolet lamp (13).

The output water from the ultraviolet lamp (13) is passes though the multiple magnet rings (14) throughout the tube. At least, preferably ten magnet rings (14) are formed and this magnets (14) magnetizing the water by magnetic filed. Due to magnetic field of magnet (14) the water molecules are in structured form. This type of water helps to improve digestive system, heart function, blood circulation and beneficial in urinary problem. After passing through the magnetic rings (14) the water output of the filter means (100) is transfer to the Control means (300).

The additive means (200) mainly comprises additive liquid cartridge (15) which includes the liquid for maintaining additive and pH. The additive liquid cartridge output is given to the control means (300).

The additive liquid cartridge (15) may includes other vitamins and minerals like iron, zinc, copper, iodine, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, fluoride, sodium, potassium, chloride, Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, Vitamin K etc. as per requirement of user.

The additive liquid cartridge (15) comprises the following content for additive and pH dosage.

It is submitted that additive can be selected from the of required minerals and nutrients as per the ultimate requirement of end user. The additive liquid cartridge (15) formulation can be made of unit dose, preferably pouch, to add directly to the existing purified drinking water.

In the control means (300) mainly includes a first DC valve (21), dosing unit (23) and second DC valve (22). The first DC valve (21), Dosing unit (23) and second DC Valve (22) are connected in series respectively. The output of additive liquid cartridge (15) is given to the first DC valve (21) and the output of the filter Means (100) is provided to the second DC valve (22) as shown in fig. 1.

The said DC valves (21, 22) operated by the DC supply through the SMPS (32) and both the DC valves (21, 22) are controlled by timer or manual toggle switch (24). The timer or electronic circuit or manual toggle switch (24) is switching the electric supply to position "A" to position "B" or vice-versa to open and close the DC valves (21, 22) accordingly. At the position "A" of switch, the first DC valve (21) becomes open and it is for inject the dosing of pH and additives in the dosing unit (23) and position "B" of the switch, the second DC valve (22) becomes open and it is for treated water with the maintained additives and pH level. The dosing unit (23) prepares the dose of the additive and pH liquid which is adjustable as per user. The input of dosing unit (23) is from the additive means (200) through the first DC valve (21) and output of the said dosing unit is given to the water outlet (20) through the second DC valve (22).

In particular to working, in the filtration cycle the water, which has to filter with maintaining the pH with additive is inserted to the filter means (100) through the water inlet pipe (10). The water is passes through the sediment filter (11) which remove all the particulate matter like dirt and debris from the water. After that the output water from the sediment filter (11) is passes through the carbon filter (12) which remove organic particles and chemicals through a process known as "adsorption". The output of water from the said carbon filter (12) is given to the ultra violet lamp (13) which purifies the water and removes/kill all harmful pathogens in the water and destroys illness-causing microorganisms. The said ultra violet lamp (13) is operated by the electricity through the choke (31). The output of the ultra violet lamp (13) is passes through the magnetic rings (14) which magnetizing the water. This filtered water is transfer to the control means (300).

In the Control means (300) the timer of toggle switch (24) is adjusted as per requirement of additive and pH and after that toggle switch (24) either timer or manual is operated on position "A" and position "B". On position "A" of toggle switch (24) the electric power get by the first DC valve (21) and it is become open. At that time the second DC valve (22) is fully closed. As already said the additive means (200) is connected to directly to the first DC valve (21) and due to opening of first DC valve (21) the dosing unit (23) get dose of the additives and pH liquid from the additive means (200) as per adjusted timer. After the filling of full of dose in the dosing unit (23) as set the timer or manually, the toggle switch (24) shift the position from "A" to "B". Due to that the power supply is disconnected form the first DC valve (21) and it become closed and at position "B" of the toggle switch (24) the second DC valve (22) get power supply and the second DC valve (22) becomes open. Due to the opening of the second DC valve (22) the filter water is passed and also dosing unit (23) injects the dose of additives and pH to the filtered water. The filtered water with the balance additive and pH derived from the water outlet (20) to user for drinking. The present invention specifically provides following advantage:

It is inferred that the foregoing description is only illustrative of the present invention and it is not intended that the invention be limited or restrictive thereto. Many other specific embodiments of the present invention will be apparent to one skilled in the art from the foregoing disclosure. All substitution, alterations and modification of the present invention which come within the scope of the following claims are to which the present invention is readily susceptible without departing from the spirit of the invention. The scope of the invention should therefore be determined not with reference to the above description but should be determined with reference to appended claims along with full scope of equivalents to which such claims are entitled.
