Abstract:
Provided is a water purifying system for reducing the possibility of residual chlorine, microorganisms, rust, and the like being mixed with purified water. Also provided is a faucet for use with a water purifying system. A water purifying system including: a water purifying device provided with a filter, the filter being connected to a raw water pipe, and provided with a tank that is connected to the downstream side of the filter and that, in accordance with the water pressure of the purified water purified by the filter, stores said purified water or ejects the stored purified water; and a faucet provided with a purified water spout that discharges purified water purified by the filter, and provided with an operation device for switching between a purified water discharge state and a drainage discharge state. 1) In the purified water discharge state, the purified water spout is connected to a purified water pipe and, while purified water is stored in the tank, purified water is discharged from the purified water spout. 2) In the drainage discharge state, the purified water spout is closed, the raw water pipe, which is further to the downstream side than a drainage spout, is connected to the drainage spout, and purified water stored in the tank flows toward the drainage spout through the filter and the raw water pipe and is drained from the drainage spout.
