Abstract:
The present invention relates to water-resistant regenerated collagen fibers, which contain a zirconium salt in an amount of 12% by weight or more in terms of zirconium oxide and a phosphorus compound in an amount of 2% by weight or more in terms of phosphorus. The present invention also relates to a method for producing water-resistant regenerated collagen fibers, wherein water-resistant regenerated collagen fibers, which contain a zirconium salt in an amount of 12% by weight or more in terms of zirconium oxide and a phosphorus compound in an amount of 2% by weight or more in terms of phosphorus, are obtained by processing regenerated collagen fibers with a zirconium salt so that the regenerated collagen fibers contain the zirconium salt, and then processing the resulting regenerated collagen fibers with a phosphorus compound so that the regenerated collagen fibers contain the phosphorus compound. The present invention also relates to a fiber bundle for hair, which contains 30-100% by weight of the water-resistant regenerated collagen fibers and 0-70% by weight of polyester fibers.
