Abstract:
Provided are a water sample characteristic detection method and apparatus. The detection method comprises: determining a first electrical signal of a water sample to be measured, the first electrical signal being used for characterizing the conductivity of said water sample (101, 204); performing a pretreatment operation on said water sample, the pretreatment operation being used for changing the content ratio of associated ions affecting a target water quality index in said water sample (102, 205); determining a second electrical signal of said water sample, the second electrical signal being used for characterizing the conductivity of said water sample after the pretreatment operation (103, 206); and determining a measurement result of the target water quality index in said water sample according to the first electrical signal and the second electrical signal (104, 207). The water sample characteristic detection method can simplify the water sample measurement process, effectively reduce the water sample measurement cost and the maintenance cost, and improve the convenience and test efficiency of the water sample measurement process.
