Abstract:
A water saving disc which can form foam water while controlling the quantity of water delivered from a water delivery pipe such as a water service faucet. A water saving disc body (10) for controlling the quantity of water delivered from a water delivery pipe (200) is provided with a through hole (11) having a bore smaller than that of the water delivery pipe (200), and the water flow is throttled by covering the entire surface of the outlet (210) of the water delivery pipe (200). A first hollow tube (30) covering a diffuser (20) from the outside is provided, and a second hollow tube (40) is provided further on the outer circumference thereof. Water flowing out downward from the through hole (11) of the water saving disc body (10) is diffused by the diffuser (20) in the outer circumferential direction, and the diffused water is received by the inner circumferential wall of the first hollow tube (30) and guided downward. An air inlet (33) is provided at an upper part of the first hollow tube (30) and when water flow flows into a channel (71) between the diffuser (20) and the first hollow tube (30), atmospheric pressure in the first hollow tube (30) falls and air flows in from a channel (72) formed between the first hollow tube (30) and the second hollow tube (40) through the air inlet (33) and then mixed with the water flow thus forming foam water.
