Abstract:
Provided is a water server that makes it possible to prevent water leaks, that is inexpensive, and that has excellent sanitary properties. The water server has a configuration that comprises: a cold water tank (2); a first water level sensor (3) that detects the water level within the cold water tank (2); a cold water tank supply pipe (4) that guides drinking water to the cold water tank (2) when the water level detected by the first water level sensor (3) decreases; a buffer tank (6); a second water level sensor (7) that detects the water level within the buffer tank (6); a buffer tank water supply pipe (8) that guides drinking water to the buffer tank (6) when the water level detected by the second water level sensor (7) decreases; an atmosphere connection path (27) that is provided to the cold water tank (2) in order to maintain the cold water tank (2) at atmospheric pressure; an air flow pipe (36) that connects the air layer of the cold water tank (2) with the air layer of the buffer tank (6); and an abnormal water level sensor (34) that detects when the water level within the cold water tank (2) has reached an abnormal water level.
