Abstract:
A water shortage protection device for air-conditioning fans. The water shortage protection device (3) comprises a float (32), a transmission ejector rod (33), and an electronic switch (36). The float (32) and the transmission ejector rod (33) are mounted in a water tank (8), and the electronic switch (36) is mounted on the top cap of the water tank (8). The float (3) is inserted into a limiting groove (83) at the bottom of the water tank (8), and the groove wall of the limiting groove (83) surrounds an inlet opening (80) of the water tank (8). The external diameter of the float (32) fits the internal diameter of the limiting groove (83), and the float (32) can move only up and down but cannot move left and right in the limiting groove (83). When the water tank (8) is full of water, and the float (32) is floated to the highest position, the float (32) will not be completely detached from the limiting groove. The water shortage protection device has a simple structure, and the float has more even stress distribution and can move up and down more steadily. The electronic switch has high sensitivity, making the water shortage protection alarming performance more reliable, and effectively reducing the probability of false alarms.
