Abstract:
Provided is a water-soluble film that not only is highly soluble in water but also gives a package in which the sealed part has high peel strength even when a liquid such as a liquid detergent has been packaged therein. This water-soluble film is hence capable of forming a package which is free from liquid leakage and has excellent film strength. Also provided is a package of a chemical, the package having been obtained by packaging any of various chemicals in the water-soluble film. The water-soluble film comprises a poly(vinyl alcohol)-based resin (A), and is characterized in that when two sheets of the water-soluble film humidified for one day in an environment of 23ºC and 50% RH are bonded to each other with water therebetween and allowed to stand for one minute, then the peel strength between the sheets is 70 g/15 mm or greater.
