Abstract:
A water stop treatment device which can perform water stop treatment at the terminal of a wire for earth, for example, efficiently regardless of the length or the diameter (wire diameter) of the wire. A water stop treatment method employing it is also provided. The water stop treatment device of wire terminal in which high pressure atmosphere is brought about on the wire terminal side so that fluid water stop agent supplied to the wire terminal permeates to the inside of a coated wire when water stop treatment of wire terminal is performed comprises a first housing section for housing the wire terminal to which the fluid water stop agent is applied, a means for enclosing the first housing section, and a pressurization means for feeding air into the first housing section.
