Abstract:
Disclosed is a waterworks meter which comprises: a reading unit which is installed in a meter body and reads the flow rate of water that is supplied through a water pipe; a sensing unit which is installed in the meter body and detects vibrations that are transmitted through the water pipe; a conversion unit which converts the vibrations detected by the sensing unit into electric signals; a frequency analysis unit which analyzes the frequency components of the electric signals converted by the conversion unit; a comparison-processing unit which compares each of the frequency components of the analyzed electric signals to a predetermined set-up level and checks whether each of the frequency components exceeds the predetermined set-up level; a determination-control unit which calculates the leakage probability on the basis of the results from the comparison-check unit; and an output unit which outputs the determination results of the determination-control unit as at least one of video signals and audio signals.
