Abstract:
Disclosed is a water treatment apparatus equipped with a larva filtration facility. The water treatment apparatus equipped with a larva filtration facility according to the present invention is characterized by comprising: a flocculent settling basin which is composed of unit settling basins divided into a plurality of sections so that raw water can be separately accommodated in specific amounts, wherein a flocculating agent is fed into the raw water, and the flocculated solid in the water is made to settle by gravity and separated from the raw water; a filter basin which is downstream of the flocculent settling basin in the water treatment process and causes the raw water supplied from the flocculent settling basin to flow through a filtering medium layer, and thereby filters out fine contaminants contained in the raw water; and a water channel that forms a raw water flow passage between the flocculent settling basin and the filter basin so that the raw water can move from the flocculent settling basin to the filter basin. In a weir separating the flocculent settling basin from the filter basin, weir holes are formed a certain height above the bottom of a settling tank so as to correspond one-to-one to the unit settling basins. In the water channel-side wall surface of the weir, trough filters, which filter out fine contaminants and aquatic insect larvae contained in the raw water and allow only the raw water to pass through and flow into the water channel, are installed so as to correspond one-to-one to the weir holes. Accordingly, the reliability of tap water can be enhanced by removing larvae from the raw water before the raw water flows into the filter basin.
