Abstract:
Disclosed is a water treatment device characterized by comprising a control means (30) which repeats processes of causing a first water softening means (5) to perform a water softening treatment of a predetermined flow rate, stopping the water softening treatment performed by the first water softening means (5), causing a second water softening means (6) to perform the water softening treatment of a predetermined flow rate, stopping the water softening treatment performed by the second water softening means (6), and causing again the first water softening means (5) to perform the water softening treatment, thereby performing the water softening treatment using the first water softening means (5) and the second water softening means (6) alternately. The water treatment device has a simple configuration, is capable of continuously treating a large quantity of water into soft water stable in hardness, and is capable of continuously softening the large quantity of water using a water decomposition ion exchanger (21) having a small ion-exchanging capacity.
