Abstract:
A first introduction side insulating portion (70), a second introduction side insulating portion (75) and an electrical discharge water tank (50) are each formed in the shape of hermetically sealed containers in a water pathway (45). A water pipe (5) is connected to the electrical discharge water tank (50) by way of the introduction side insulating portions (70, 75), and the electrical discharge water tank (50) is connected to water feed headers (82a, 82b). The water pathway (45) has a hermetically sealed construction which is open to the atmosphere only at feed water openings of the water feed headers (82a, 82b). For this reason, when pressurized tap water is supplied to the water pathway (45), water flows through the water pathway (45). As a result, restrictions relating to the positional relationship between the treated water supply target and the water treatment device (40) are relaxed, improving the ease of use of the water treatment device (40).
