Abstract:
In this water treatment method, a cycle is repeatedly performed including a filtration process for filtering water to be treated through a separation membrane from the primary side toward the secondary side thereof, and a backwashing process for backwashing the separation membrane from the secondary side toward the primary side. The water treatment method comprises a step for injecting ozone for use in the backwashing step into the separation membrane, and, when a preceding cycle of the repeated cycle is defined as a first cycle and a following cycle performed after the first cycle is defined as a second cycle, a step for setting the amount of ozone injected in the second cycle to be less than or equal to the amount of ozone injected in the first cycle.
