Abstract:
Provided is a water treatment method with which it is possible to insolubilize to-be-removed substances in a short period of time from water that includes the to-be-removed substances, perform solid-liquid separation, obtain treated water having excellent water quality, and efficiently reduce the volume of separated solids. A water treatment method in which a magnesium agent obtained by firing basic magnesium carbonate at a temperature within the range of 500-700°C and/or a magnesium agent obtained by firing magnesium hydroxide at a temperature within the range of 450-650°C is added to treatment water that includes to-be-removed substances.
