Abstract:
Provided is a water treatment method for a steam generating facility, whereby the deposition of scale from feed water containing hardness components can be sufficiently inhibited, sludge can be discharged efficiently, and the degradation of sulfites in an aqueous solution can be inhibited, thereby ensuring the highly efficient and stable operation of a steam generating facility. A water treatment method for a steam generating facility using a feed water containing 1 to 50mgCaCO3/L of hardness components, said method involving adding (a) a scale inhibitor that contains (a-1) an acrylic acid/2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid copolymer and/or a salt thereof and (a-2) a phosphonic acid and/or a salt thereof, and (b) an oxygen scavenger that contains (b-1) sulfurous acid and/or a salt thereof and that further contains (b-2) erythorbic acid and/or a salt thereof or (b-3) ascorbic acid and/or a salt thereof, to the feed water.
