Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a water vapor observation system whereby water vapor can be observed regardless of the state of external systems. [Solution] A water vapor observation system 1 for observing water vapor in the atmosphere and comprising: a wave transmission unit Tx that sends transmission waves; wave reception units Rx that receive, as reception waves, reflected waves being transmission waves that are reflected and return from a fixed object or wave reception units Rx that are arranged at different positions from the wave transmission unit and receive transmission waves as reception waves; and a relative water vapor amount calculation unit that calculates relative water vapor amounts being relative values for water vapor using as a reference therefor a reference water vapor amount that serves as a comparison target, and calculates same on the basis of the reception waves received by the wave reception units Rx.
