A waterless livewell housing (100) for use in being arranged within a lining of a refrigeration appliance and capable of being pushed inward or drawn outward relative to the lining. The livewell housing (100) is provided with a housing body (10), an opening provided on the housing body (10), a sealing lid (20) for opening or sealing the opening, a temperature control module for controlling the temperature in the livewell housing, a humidity control module (30) for regulating the humidity in the livewell housing, a gas control module (40) for regulating the oxygen concentration in the livewell housing, an excretion mechanism (50) for removing excretions of the aquatic products, and a control system. The waterless livewell housing (100) stores the aquatic products and further regulates the temperature, humidity, and oxygen concentration in the livewell housing via the temperature control module, the humidity control module (30), the gas control module (40), and the excretion mechanism (50) to build a suitable environment for keeping the aquatic products alive in a waterless state, implements keeping of the aquatic products alive in the waterless state, and allows the aquatic products to be kept alive for three or more days, thus satisfying general household use.
