Abstract:
Provided is a waterproof case of which the waterproof performance is enhanced by use of an engagement structure between a base and a case, and a fixation structure for fixing the waterproof case to a fixing object, in conjunction with each other. The waterproof case includes: a base 30 supporting a Hall IC 36; a case 10 provided with a bottomed cylindrical portion 16 in which the Hall IC 36 is housed; and O-rings 80, 82 interposed between the base 30 and the case 10. A base-side flange 32 having a base-side through hole 31 provided therein is formed on the base 30, and a case-side flange 12 having a case-side through hole 11 provided therein is formed on the case 10. The base 30 and the case 10 are configured to be temporarily assembled together in a state where the base-side flange 32 and the case-side flange 12 are held so as to have a prescribed positional relationship by means of an engagement portion 13 and a portion 39 to be engaged. When a fastening member 50 passing through the base-side through hole 31 and the case-side through hole 11 is screwed into a transmission case 60, the base 30 and the case 10 are jointly fastened and fixed to the transmission case 60.
