Provided is a waterproof connector configured so that a rubber plug holder is prevented from being pressed by an excessive force in the direction in which the rubber plug holder is separated and so that waterproof properties are enhanced. This waterproof connector is provided with: a housing (30) provided with a cylindrical section (39) at the rear end thereof; and a rubber plug (50) fitted in the cylindrical section (39); a rubber plug holder (60) for preventing the separation of the rubber plug (50). The housing (30) and the rubber plug holder (60) have lock structures (41, 66) engaging with each other in the front-rear direction to prevent the separation of the rubber plug holder (60). The rubber plug (50) has a flange (56) protruding from the outer peripheral surface of the rubber plug (50) and disposed between the rear end of the cylindrical section (39) and the rear wall (61) of the rubber plug holder (60). The flange (56) has a ridge (57) protruding forward and in contact with the rear end of the cylindrical section (39). At least one of the contact surfaces between the rear end of the cylindrical section (39) and the ridge (57) is provided with a sloped surface (44, 58) sloped relative to the front-rear direction.
