Abstract:
Disclosed is a waterproof moisture-permeable sheet (4) with fire protection performance, wherein a fiber sheet (5) comprising at least one material selected from among a woven fabric, a knitted fabric and a non-woven fabric, each containing 50-100 mass% of a polyether imide fiber and 0-50 mass% of another flame-retardant fiber, is bonded to a water-proof moisture-permeable film (7), which meets the following requirements of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 11613-1999 to be applied for flame resistance, heat resistance and laundering fastness of fire-protecting clothing, (1) flame resistance: no burn-through, dripping or melting, after-flame time/after-glow time ≤ 2 sec; (2) heat resistance: no ignition, separation, dripping or melting, shrinkage ≤ 5%; and (3) laundering fastness: shrinkage ≤ 3%. Also disclosed is a fire-protecting clothing in which the aforesaid waterproof moisture-permeable sheet with fire protection performance is used as an intermediate waterproof fabric of the fire-protecting clothing. Thus, a waterproof moisture-permeable sheet with fire protection performance, which has a high light fastness, a high heat resistance and good dyeing properties and can be produced at a low cost, and a fire-protecting clothing using the same are provided.
