Abstract:
A waterproof structure for an external rotor motor comprises a rotation shaft (1), an external rotor (2), and a plastic packaged stator (3). The external rotor is sleeved outside the plastic packaged stator. The rotation shaft is mounted in the middle of the plastic packaged stator, and is connected together with the external rotor. A first annular groove (351) is disposed on the periphery of a stator core (31) and the bottom surface of the plastic packaged end plate (35). An annular first guarding ring (4) is disposed on an outer edge of the external rotor close to one end of the plastic packaged end plate. The first guarding ring extends into the first annular groove. The first guarding ring comprises a root (41), a water prevention portion (43), and an oblique portion (42) connected between the root and the water prevention portion. The root is mounted on the outer edge of the external rotor. The oblique portion obliquely extends outwards, and at least partially extends into the first annular groove. The water prevention portion extends from an end portion of the oblique portion into the first annular groove along the axial direction. The waterproof structure has a simple structure and a good waterproof capability, effectively improves the use reliability of the external rotor motor, and prolongs the service life of the external rotor motor.
