A waterproofing and dustproofing mechanism for an LED street lamp comprises a lamp pole (1). A supporting rod (2) is fixedly connected to the outer surface of the lamp pole (1). A protective shell (3) is fixedly connected to the end of the supporting rod (2) away from the lamp pole (1). A mounting groove (4) is formed in the lower surface of the protective shell (3). A threaded column (5) is fixedly connected to each of the four corners of the inner top wall of the mounting groove (4). The outer surfaces of the threaded columns (5) are sleeved in and connected to an LED lamp (6). A fixing seat (7) is fixedly connected to the front face and the back face of the LED lamp (6). With cooperative arrangement of the lamp pole (1), the supporting rod (2), the protective shell (3), the mounting groove (4), the threaded column (5), the LED lamp (6), and a waterproofing ring (10), the waterproofing ring (10) is arranged at the connection point between the LED lamp (6) and the protective shell (3), and the protective shell (3) shields the connecting part of the LED lamp (6), so that the LED lamp (6) and the protective shell (3) are connected more firmly and tightly, thereby effectively reducing the dust and rainwater getting into the LED lamp (6), providing good dustproofing and waterproofing effect, and reducing the probability of damage to the LED lamp (6).
