Abstract:
A wave absorbing block for breaking waves of the present invention comprises: a pair of right and left legs which have an arch part concavely curved at the front center formed thereon and horizontally project from the right and left sides so as to form side inclination parts on the right and left sides, respectively; and a single column which is integrally formed with the pair of right and left legs and vertically projects from the top center of the arch part. The wave absorbing block for breaking waves is excellent in wave-absorbing performance and increases robustness, durability, workability, and economics, when being used in constructing coastal facilities of a port such as a breakwater and a seawall. In addition, since the wave absorbing block for breaking waves has superior engagement and hydraulic capabilities therebetween, construction costs can be reduced. Furthermore, since the wave absorbing block for breaking waves is suitable for mass production due to the simple shape and has workability convenient for constructions for breaking waves, such as production, transportation, and mounting, it is easy to construct a port.
