Abstract:
This wave gear device comprises: an internal gear; an external gear that is disposed on the inner side of the internal gear and meshes with the internal gear; and a wave generator disposed on the inner side of the external gear. The wave generator causes the external gear to deflect into a non-perfectly circular shape to cause a major axis portion of the external gear to mesh with the internal gear, and to move a meshing position in the circumferential direction. The wave gear device satisfies conditions *1 to *9.
